A fantasy that never will
come true?
Is it a feeling or such a thought
Of someone we've met once before;
Long ago in a distant dream?
How sure we are that
love brings joy?
How painful it can be
when love brings misery in its wake...
Will one ever realise
What love does?
Will one ever break free
from it's misery;
Grabbing on to those memories
pleasing to the heart?
Love?
Is one question left
only to be answered
when we see through our heart
and not by temptation of any kind;
only the longing to be near and dear.
